This workshop is designed for each registered organization to bring 4-6 leaders, including the following individuals:

  • Board Chair

  • Executive Director

  • Program Director

  • Development Director

WHAT

Relationships are essential to an organization’s ability to fulfill its mission, so why do they often break down, resulting in conflict or poor collaboration? In this interactive workshop, we will discuss the root causes of organizational silos, particularly those that impact the working relationship between the Programs and Development Departments, and explore ways to improve organizational culture.

Workshop Co-Presenter, Tawnia Wise of Wise Resource Development, built her career as a fundraiser at some of the area’s largest nonprofits, including the American Heart Association, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Baylor Scott & White, and Volunteers of America Texas. Workshop Co-Presenter, Sommer Neff of Sommer Neff Consulting, has spent over a decade serving in senior programming roles at some of the most dynamic nonprofits in the North Texas region, including the Salvation Army DFW Metroplex Command and WiNGS, before starting her own consulting business to help nonprofits build strong teams. Together, Wise and Neff will “smash the silos” by exploring interdepartmental dynamics and helping attendees build bridges toward lasting cultural change.

COST

$250 per organization (max attendance of 6 staff) or $125 for current Wise Resource Development or Sommer Neff Consulting clients (reach out to your representative for discount code).
