WHO

This workshop is designed for hiring managers of fund development staff, including Board Members, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Development Officers, Directors of Development, Human Resource Directors and others.

WHAT

Retaining proven fundraising professionals in Dallas-Fort Worth’s highly competitive market is challenging. To reduce your organization’s risk of turnover, you have to start by recruiting for longevity. In this workshop, we will share best practices that have made Wise Resource Development a successful nonprofit recruiter and helped our clients keep their employees engaged.

Wise specializes in recruiting executive-level staff and fundraising professionals for nonprofits. This in-depth, intentional recruitment process has bolstered Wise’s reputation for being a skilled matchmaker in high turnover situations, with 91 percent of Wise’s recruits staying in their position for a minimum of a year and 78 percent still in their recruited role or staying a minimum of 2 years.

Workshop attendees will learn the methods behind Wise’s successful recruitment process, including recruitment philosophy, screening candidates, designing strategic and intentional interview questions, and important considerations that lead to a long-term match. The day will also include an overview of performance management and leadership best practices that will keep your team members motivated for success.

Whether you expect to hire soon or want to be well prepared for a future hire, this workshop will give you the inside scoop on how to find and keep fundraising professionals.

COST
