A sustainable organization relies on the stability of all parts of the stool. Each needs to be effectively serving its purpose. The mission (seat) needs to be one that is meeting a demonstrated need. The operations leg needs to have effective systems that protect the mission. The programs leg needs to be demonstrating impact. And the fundraising leg needs to be sustaining mission impact. Take a moment to ask yourself if there is a weakness in the structure of your stool.
